Save the Future Workshop @ Gerze, Sinop

The workshop was held on 2-3 September 2019 with the participation of Deniz Cevikus, the representative ‘Fridays for Future’ and Eymen Aktel, the representative of the ‘Extinction Rebellion’. Presentations and interviews enlightened the participants about biodiversity, the use of water and energy resources, the use of plastics and the climate crisis, and threats to today's society locally and globally. A sustainable organic garden, the Deydaa Ecology Camp, provided an area to brainstorm and inspire each other in participating children and young adults about the steps we can take for change.

On the second day, the participants produced posters on cardboards (or textiles) expressing their voices about their future and shared their posters in the public areas of the city of Sinop.
